Hand Thrown

Colorful pigs banks to save for fun events. Tea set with hand applied design. Herbal? Classic?

It’s all comforting!

Please look at the ware displayed in this site. I’d like you to view it and see a fun expression of our love of nature, animals and ourselves.

The Pig Banks featured above were developed in response to our need to teach children and ourselves to save toward the future. Banks require a minimum deposit now to open an account, these pigs will gather pocket change or a part of a weekly allowance. Children and adults alike are often amazed at how quickly pocket change can grow into a deposit acceptable amount!

I love making teapots as I love herbal tea. My teapots come with a tea light warmer to keep teas warm while reading or any activity that keeps you away from your favorite herbal brew. The tea set featured above was a commission piece that traveled to Venezuela to an English couple. As fortune would shine, the tea pot didn’t drip!

The following pages hold work for sale, and I will also include work that I’ve done as example of what can be commissioned.

I plan to participate in Chester County sponsored Craft Shows , Mt Gretna Summer Festival in August, Chadds Ford Days in September, and Stahls Pottery Festival in October. Mt Gretna is  a bit south of Lebanon PA and is the biggest festival I’ve participated in. Hundreds of vendors and Artists exibit their hand crafts. The participants are all juried in so the quality is pretty good. It’s a show worth planning to see! Mark your calendar for Aug 15th and 16th and I’ll see you there!

I am time restricted as I work full time currently, soon to be retired and commit to my Craft full time. I look forward to giving lessons in 2011.

I hope you’ll enjoy my work. If you work in clay please feel free to make helpful suggestions.

A Warm Welcome
